INSPIRATIONAL WOMAN AWARDS 2017
An event to inspire others & be inspired
WELCOME
TO THE INSPIRATIONAL WOMAN AWARDS

Andrea had a horrendous marriage and suffered untold abuse until she broke free
and wrote her book ‘White Sorrow’. Originally written so her girls would understand in the future when they are old enough why they have no father. The book has become a leading light for many in their fight to stop domestic abuse. Andrea has travelled far and wide, supporting events against domestic abuse, speaking out and presenting her story of survival. She has also supported University studies into coercive control.

Marian has overcome numerous health problems, including premature birth, a hole in her heart, a serious spinal condition, and a severe allergic reaction to medicine which almost took her life. Despite these health issues, Marian has devoted her life to being a positive role model. In her short life, Marian has already written two inspirational books, earned an MA degree in Early Years Education, delivered motivational speeches at schools and international conferences, and shared her story through many media outlets.

Bev spent 20 years working with vulnerable families, helping them aspire to be more, develop new skills and build their confidence. After being diagnosed with Fybromyaligia, she wanted to build a legacy for her kids and have fun. Bev realised that so many business people hated the idea of speaking in public. She now supports business owners to speak with confidence and clarity through 'Discover Your Voice'. The results have been transformational for individuals. She still finds time to volunteer with her local Housing Association and other charities.
